Zelenskyy convenes Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff meeting: Positive decision made for combat brigades on distribution of mobilised personnel

A decision was approved introducing a new approach to distributing mobilised personnel among military units at the meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff on 5 December. Each brigade will now receive a set number of mobilised troops every month.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "Today, I held a very important Staff meeting.

There is a genuinely good solution for personnel distribution across all combat brigades – we have approved how the General Staff should reorganise the process.

The key point is that every combat brigade must be guaranteed monthly reinforcements so they can understand how to structure training within the brigade, how to carry out rotations, and how to plan their work."

Details: Palisa stated that the new approach concerns the distribution of mobilised personnel among military units even before the beginning of basic training.

Thus, every brigade conducting combat tasks on the line of contact will receive a stable, predetermined number of mobilised troops each month.

Palisa added that the training of new recruits will take place in conditions as close as possible to those of the specific brigade: "Thirty-seven combat brigades have the right to conduct basic military training independently and we will continue expanding these capabilities."

Where brigades do not yet have their own training facilities, he said that training will be conducted in training centres and training battalions of army corps, but with full support from instructors from the brigade.
