Russia attacks Ukraine with 80 drones overnight: 50 downed, strikes recorded at 7 locations
Russia launched 80 attack drones against Ukraine on the night of 9-10 December. Ukrainian air defences have shot down 50 Russian UAVs, while another 29 hit their targets at seven locations.

Details: The Air Force reported that the Russians launched the drones from the areas of Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Millerovo in Russia as well as from the Chauda training ground in temporarily occupied Crimea.
Around 50 of the drones were Shahed-type loitering munitions.
Early reports as of 09:00 indicate that Ukrainian air defences shot down or jammed 50 Russian Shahed and Gerbera loitering munitions as well as drones of other types in the south and east of the country.
Hits by 29 drones were recorded at seven locations.
The aerial attack is being repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from the Ukrainian defence forces.
The attack is still ongoing, as several UAVs remain in Ukrainian airspace.
