Man suffers medical emergency, drowns at Onondaga State Park

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Mo. - Officials from the Missouri Highway Patrol (MSHP) say a 65-year-old man from O'Fallon, Missouri, drowned at Onondaga State Park on Wednesday.

MSHP says the man suffered a medical emergency and fell out of the canoe. Coroners from Crawford County pronounced the man as deceased around 7 p.m.

This incident marks the second drowning in 2025, officials have confirmed. They also say the next of kin has been notified about the incident.
