Hawley slams MLB over Bible verse warning, league responds
Major League Baseball has assured Missouri Senator Josh Hawley that San Francisco Giants players who wrote Bible verses on Pride Night-themed caps will not be punished, following pressure from lawmakers, including Hawley and Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway over what they called a threat to players' religious freedom.
