A two-storey house with two entrances has been destroyed in the town of Kupiansk (Kharkiv Oblast) due to a Russian attack, with at least five private houses damaged and people possibly trapped under the rubble.

Quote: "A two-story house with two entrances was ruined around 13:30 in an attack on Kupiansk, while at least five private houses were damaged.

Two women were hospitalised with injuries; one civilian man was treated on the spot.

There may be people under the rubble. The aftermath of the bombardment is being dealt with."

Details: Syniehubov added that Russian forces launched over 10 airstrikes on the border settlements in Kharkiv Oblast on Saturday (17 February) alone.

Updated: Later, Syniehubov reported that a woman, 69, had been rescued from under the rubble and hospitalised with a fractured limb.

The search and rescue operation is ongoing, with two people still trapped under the rubble.

 

Later, the Kharkiv Oblast Prosecutor's Office reported that five people had been injured in the attack on Kupiansk on Saturday.

One of the bombs hit a two-storey apartment building. Two women aged 88 and 67 were injured.

Another bomb also hit a building. Rescue workers pulled out an injured woman from the rubble. There are still people there.

Reports also mentioned two wounded men, aged 69 and 44.
