Zelenskyy: We know Russia may launch another large-scale attack tonight

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned that Russian forces may carry out another large-scale attack.

Quote: "We know from intelligence services that a large-scale attack may happen again tonight. Please, I urge you, pay attention to air-raid warnings. All partners together, everyone in Europe, must continue working to ensure there are missiles for our air defence, the necessary systems, vital intelligence data and other things that help save lives."

Details: Zelenskyy added that Russian forces launched more than 70 missiles and 650 drones on the night of 1-2 June. Around 100 more drones were launched during the day.

Quote: "Sadly, the current level of supplies for our air defence does not allow us to shoot down a significant proportion of missiles. There were hits. A total of 130 people were injured. Sadly, 22 people were killed, including two children. My condolences to everyone who has lost their relatives and loved ones.

Once again, Putin and his madness have 'defeated' the lives of ordinary children, residential buildings and a clinic in Kyiv."

Details: Zelenskyy pointed out that not one type of Russian missiles can be produced without components imported from other countries.

Quote: "In other words, every such attack involves, perhaps unintentionally but still, complicity by those who work for Russia, who provide Russia with money, who help it circumvent sanctions and find not just one or two, but thousands of components without which Russian military production would simply stop.

Five Kalibr missiles contain 145 such components.

Thirty-three Iskander missiles contain 1,122 components.

Six hundred and fifty attack drones of various types contain more than 17,000 components without which they cannot be produced."
