Warm Springs Ranch celebrates arrival of 2 Clydesdale foals

BOONVILLE, Mo. - Boonville’s beloved Warm Springs Ranch is celebrating the arrival of its newest members at its breeding and training facility.

The 300-plus-acre ranch says two foals—a colt (male) and filly (female)—were recently born on the property. Although being just born, both foals are energetically roaming with their fellow Clydesdales on the rolling hills in central Missouri.

According to Warm Springs Ranch, both foals are going to be making their in-person debut this weekend (Sept. 20 & Sept. 21) for visitors. 

“This weekend’s Mane Event is the perfect opportunity to see the two new foals up close and learn about what’s ahead for them while taking in the history and tradition that goes into training Clydesdales for the travelling hitches,” said Amy Trout, manager of Warm Springs Ranch.

In Warm Springs Ranch’s “Mane Event: Behind the Reins,” guests can learn about the ranch’s history, as well as interact with a Clydesdale.

“Foals grow up so quickly, and right now is a magical time as they start their incredible journey as part of the history of the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales,” Trout said.
