Video shows young fan tackled by security at Padres vs. Giants game

The child, wearing a brown Padres shirt and jean shorts, dashed into right field with security guards in red shirts chasing after him at the beginning of the eighth inning, all as Padres' Fernando Tatis Jr. stood a few feet away.
A video by a FOX 5/KUSI employee at the game captured the incident around 9 p.m. It showed one security guard was able to grab the boy while two others made contact with the pair moments later, causing the four of them to fall to the ground.
The scene of the young fan being pinned to the ground was met with boos from spectators in the stands. Tatis Jr. was later seen approaching the child and the security guards, although it is unclear what he said.
Moments later, in the ninth inning, another person -- this time, a young woman -- ran onto the field. The woman was also escorted off the field by security guards.
Craig Hughner, vice president of communications for the Padres, sent FOX 5/KUSI the following statement regarding the incident:
"Elite security followed Petco Park protocols for persons illegally entering the field of play that are designed to protect player, coach and umpire safety. Fans are strictly prohibited from entering the field or any other restricted areas. Such violations of the Fan Code of Conduct lead to immediate ejection from the park and potential revocation of future ticket privileges. The Padres maintain a zero-tolerance policy for such violations.”
The Padres won 5-1 against the Giants during Tuesday night's game.
