Victim in deadly Linda Vista shooting identified
(FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diego officials have identified the man killed in a shooting near the Linda Vista Recreation Center on Monday as they continue to search for the suspect in the crime.
San Diego Police said the victim was Enrique Nunez, 40.
Police had responded to a call of gunshots near the center at 12:45 a.m. At the site, officers found Nunez with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
Police said they are searching for a suspect in the shooting and describe the person as a heavy-set Hispanic male adult.
