Vegetation fire reported in Valley Center
VALLEY CENTER, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Cal Fire San Diego crews quickly contained a small vegetation fire Saturday afternoon that began as a vehicle fire and spread into nearby brush, officials confirmed to FOX 5/KUSI.

The incident was reported in the area of 25895 N Lake Wohlford Road around 11:56 a.m., and within just over 20 minutes, firefighters were able to stop the fire’s forward rate of spread by 12:18 p.m. Officials say the fire burned approximately 1 acre.
Cal Fire confirmed there were no injuries and no structures damaged. While a nearby structure was initially threatened by the flames, that threat has since been lifted.
Crews are expected to remain on scene for 1 to 2 hours to ensure full containment and address any remaining hotspots.
The cause of the initial vehicle fire is under investigation.
