Missouri Valley Search & Rescue is organizing Saturday’s search.

Volunteers seeking more information or wanting to offer support can call or text 314-496-2694 or 618-791-9146. Volunteer Olivia Johnson has been searching for Crispin daily.

“He probably has facial hair by now,” said Johnson.  “It’s been a week since he’s been gone, and he probably hasn’t shaved.”

She said friends confirm Crispin had a mustache when we went missing. Police say he is 6’4” and weighs 220 pounds.

Surveillance images show Crispin crossing the parking lot of Christ Church in Fairview Heights the day he went missing.

Swansea Police have repeatedly shared photos of Crispin on the department’s Facebook Page.

Police have utilized drones, airplanes, helicopters, boats, K9s, and other resources but have not been able to find Crispin. They say he has memory problems but is lucid.

Police say family and friends noticed Crispin was missing on Sunday and notified police.  Police then issued a Silver Alert.

“He will have a conversation with you so if you see him, please go up and talk to him and call us,” said Dep. Chief Keith Howard, Swansea Police Department.

“Bill is a member of the community,” said Johnson.  “His friends and his family miss him dearly and the sooner that we can find him and locate him, they get some answers.”

Residents are asked to search their security and doorbell videos for any signs of Crispin.  Citizens can share their videos directly with the police department.

Anyone who has information about Crispin’s whereabouts is asked to call the Swansea Police Department at 618-233-8114.
