Ukrainian forces destroy Russian S-300 missile system and drone command post – video

Fighters from the Lasar's Group unit from the National Guard of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Air Force and the 15th Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade have carried out a large-scale special operation on the Zaporizhzhia front, during which an S-300 surface-to-air missile system and a UAV command post were destroyed.

Details: Lasar's Group said that it had conducted a multi-layer special operation on the Zaporizhzhia front, working in coordination with the Air Force. Important Russian assets were struck at each stage.

The first step was the destruction of a Russian Palantin electronic warfare system by Lasar's Group drones. The next phase involved strikes on Russian air defence systems. Lasar's Group organised a hunt for S-300 surface-to-air missile systems with the support of aerial reconnaissance from the Black Forest unit, Ukraine's 15th Artillery Brigade.

Through joint analytical efforts, the location of the Russian air defence systems was established. Lasar's Group then struck a launch vehicle and a multi-channel missile guidance station for an S-300V system.

These systems had been hampering Ukrainian aircraft operations, but the Lazars cleared the way. Meanwhile, Ukraine's Air Force destroyed a Russian UAV command post.
