Quote: "Hand-launched, easy to operate, with a flight range of over 150 km, invisible from an altitude of just 50 m, and several times cheaper than comparable systems – this is our new Sweetheart reconnaissance drone!"
Details: Hryshyn noted that the Sweetheart continues General Cherry's line of fixed-wing UAVs and is one of the most technologically advanced products in its niche.
Quote: "The Sweetheart has many features, but the key ones are the ability to stay airborne for up to three hours, be completely undetected and be used for the most demanding reconnaissance missions deep behind enemy lines."
Details: The drone is equipped with a digital video link, a remotely controlled zoom camera, an automatic target-tracking system and a laser rangefinder.
Hryshyn added that the UAV has a high level of protection against countermeasures and is extremely difficult to intercept or force to land.
He said the new drone costs several times less than comparable reconnaissance systems, reducing losses if it is destroyed.
The Sweetheart is currently undergoing combat testing. Hryshyn noted that mass production is expected to begin in the near future.
