Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the infrastructure of the Maykop military airfield in the Republic of Adygea. Russian troops actively use it for operational-tactical aviation, Ukraine's General Staff reports.

The distance from the target to Ukrainian-controlled territory is approximately 500 km, indicating that the airfield in question is Khanskaya airfield. The airfield belongs to the Ministry of Defense of Russia and serves as a military training facility for aviation.

It hosts the 272nd Training Aviation Base of the Kuban Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots named after A. K. Serov. The airbase is classified as a second-class facility and can accommodate aircraft such as the Tu-134, An-12, Il-18, as well as lighter aircraft and helicopters of all types, according to Channel 24.

The strike on the airfield was part of Ukraine’s systematic operations against enemy military sites, aimed at degrading Russia’s ability to attack Ukrainian territory.

Kremniy El in Bryansk burns on 1,000 square meters

The General Staff also clarified the results of the strike on the Kremniy El facility in Bryansk on 10 March, which produces electronic components for ballistic, cruise, and air-defense missiles of various types.

The attack caused a fire covering about 1,000 square meters in the main production building, partially collapsed the roof, and ignited another fire of 400 square meters in the warehouse containing microchip components.

Three days before the attack, Russian forces struck a residential building in Kharkiv, killing 11 people, including a 13-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy. The Bryansk strike specifically targeted the plant supplying components for the control block of the BUBS‑30 used in the new Izdelie‑30 cruise missile—the same type used against the Kharkiv building.

Loss of six months of production

Preliminary estimates suggest that production at Kremniy El will be halted for roughly six months. The General Staff emphasized that systematic strikes on Russian military infrastructure and defense industry enterprises will continue until the armed aggression against Ukraine ceases.
