Quote: "As part of measures to reduce the offensive potential of the Russian aggressor, on the night of 2-3 December, units of Ukraine's defence forces struck the Dmitrievskaya oil depot in Russia's Tambov Oblast. The facility is used to support the needs of the Russian occupation army.

The target was hit, followed by a fire at the site – early reports indicate that several fuel storage tanks are burning. The results of the strike are being confirmed."

Details: The statement also reports the destruction of a technical observation post on the MSP-4 fixed offshore platform in the Black Sea.

According to early reports, the Russian UAV crew was destroyed and a surface-monitoring radar station on the Syvash self-lifting floating drilling vessel was hit. Other consequences of the strike are still being verified.

The General Staff also reported that the destruction of three Orion reconnaissance-attack UAVs has been confirmed following the strike on 27 November 2025 on the Saky airfield (Novofedorivka, temporarily occupied Crimea). The cost of one such UAV is estimated at around US$5 million; its wingspan is 16.3 metres, and it can stay in the air for up to 24 hours.

In addition, the 2 December strike on the Livny oil depot in Russia's Oryol Oblast has been confirmed, where two RV-5000 storage tanks caught fire as a result of a drone attack.

The General Staff emphasises that Ukraine's defence forces continue to take measures to undermine Russia's military and economic potential and compel it to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine.
