Ukraine Defence Contact Group to hold its 32nd meeting on Tuesday

A meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group (also known as the Ramstein format) has been scheduled for Tuesday 16 December.

Details: The 32nd meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group will be held via video link.

As part of the meeting, Defence Minister Denys Shmyhal will brief allies on the current situation on the battlefield as well as on Ukraine's key needs to strengthen its defence and bring lasting peace closer.

It is also expected that partners will announce new contributions to strengthening the capabilities of Ukraine's defence forces.

Background:

• The previous Ramstein meeting took place in person on 15 October.
• This was the first meeting since February, which US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth attended in person.
