Two killed, one injured in Russian artillery strike on Kherson Oblast

Two people were killed and a woman was injured as Russian forces shelled the village of Pryozerne in the Kherson hromada on 3 June. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Quote: "Investigators have found that at about 11:20 on 3 June 2026, Russian troops carried out an artillery strike on the village of Pryozerne in the Kherson hromada.

As a result of a house being hit, a 54-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman were killed. Another local woman sustained injuries."

Details: Under the procedural guidance of Oleshky District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into a war crime resulting in loss of life (Article 438.2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Prosecutors and police investigators are currently documenting the aftermath of the Russian attack and collecting evidence of another Russian war crime.
