Two injured after e-bike struck by vehicle in San Marcos
SAN MARCOS, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A child and an adult were injured after the e-bike they were riding was struck by a vehicle on Monday evening in San Marcos.
According to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened around 6:26 p.m. at the intersection of South Santa Fe Avenue and Bosstick Boulevard.
The two bicyclists, a juvenile and an adult, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and all other people involved in the crash stayed at the site to talk with investigators.
The sheriff's office said alcohol and drugs are not suspected to be a factor in the crash.
