SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Three people were stabbed at a downtown San Diego train station Sunday night, and the suspect remains at large, police said.

A heavy police presence and a circling police helicopter could be seen at the Santa Fe Depot in downtown San Diego after three people were stabbed Sunday night, one in the neck.

San Diego Police officers were called to the train station around 9:12 p.m. Sunday where they found three victims with stab wounds -- one person was stabbed in the neck, one person was stabbed in the leg and arm and another had unknown injuries, according to police.

The suspect is described as potentially in his 50s, with long, gray hair, wearing a black shirt and black pants or shorts, last seen walking west on Broadway in downtown San Diego. A police helicopter could be heard announcing they were searching for a stabbing suspect in the Gaslamp area.
