Three people injured, houses damaged and fires erupt following Russian attack on Kyiv Oblast – photos

Russian forces have launched a large-scale attack on Kyiv Oblast using drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles. Three people have been injured, houses and warehouse premises have been damaged and fires have broken out as a result of the attack.

Quote from Kalashnyk: "A man has been injured in the Bucha district. He has been hospitalised with a laceration to his thigh. A resident of the Obukhiv district sustained a shrapnel wound to his leg.

A man suffered from shock in the Fastiv district. All of those affected have been provided with the necessary medical treatment."

Details: Kalashnyk said the effects of the Russian attack have been recorded in four districts of the oblast.

Quote from Kalashnyk: "The Bucha district has sustained the most damage so far. Three houses, logistics and warehouse premises, other non-residential buildings and six lorries have been damaged here.

Two high-rise residential buildings and a house have been damaged in the Vyshhorod district. Houses have been affected in the Fastiv and Obukhiv districts."

Details: Kalashnyk reported that all the appropriate services are working at the affected sites.

Where the security situation permits, emergency services are continuing to survey the areas, record the damage and destruction and clear up the aftermath of the attack. People whose homes have been damaged are being provided with all the necessary assistance, he added.

Background: Russian forces launched a combined strike on the city of Kyiv on the night of 1-2 June. Fires broke out and residential buildings were damaged in several districts. Four people have been killed.
