Three dead in East St. Louis house fire: Officials

EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. - A house fire has killed three people in East St. Louis Friday morning.

According to officials, the fire broke out in the 3300 block of Bond Ave. just before 7 a.m.

The victims has been identified as 95-year-old Sylvester Reeves, 55-year-old Pierre Maley, and 60-year-old Cheryl Johnson. According to the East St. Louis fire chief, Maley was the caretaker of Reeves, his grandmother. Johnson was the girlfriend of Maley.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
