Details: The exhausted animal was handed over, suffering from burns, to veterinarians, who are now working to save the cat's life.

On day four after the large-scale Russian attack on the capital, some local residents were clearing rubble in an industrial zone near the Lukianivka district when a cat suddenly crawled out from beneath the debris and dust.

Quote: "Three days of pain under the ruins [...] Covered in burns and construction dust, exhausted and silent, she had been hiding her pain somewhere all this time. And despite everything she had endured, she remained graceful. Wild. Alive. Untamed, like nature itself.

A missile worth several years of a small town's budget came to kill an ordinary Kyiv cat. To destroy her life. This is what happens when hatred for someone else's life becomes more important than care for one's own people."

More details: The injured animal has been given a new name, Artemis, after the ancient Greek goddess of hunting. The animal rescue volunteers explained that the name reflects the cat's strength, endurance, and will to survive.

Artemis was in a serious condition when she was handed over to the vets, and they are now doing everything they can to save her life. A fundraiser has been launched to cover the cost of her treatment.
