These are St. Louis' 'best restaurants,' according to Midwest Living

ST. LOUIS - Midwest Living Magazine recently praised St. Louis for having one of the country's "most underrated food scenes," backing it up with a new list of the city's and region's top restaurants.

Food writers at Midwest Living highlighted St. Louis for its mix of classics, family favorites and cuisines shaped by dozens of cultural influences.

"Add to these a new generation of chefs pushing the envelope with both technique and flavor, and you’ve got a food scene that can compete with just about anywhere," Midwest Living wrote.

All in all, Midwest Living spotlighted 28 restaurants from fine dining to casual sitdowns. Here’s the list, organized alphabetically by local selections in City of St. Louis and in St. Louis County.
