The summer feels rolls on, rain and a cool down expected late week
ST. LOUIS - In St. Louis, the average last date for a 90+ day is September 16. We will go past that this year.
The heat will continue through Thursday with high temperatures in the 90s. Despite the chance of a few very isolated pop showers, mainly west and south, no rain is expected in St. Louis through Thursday.
Our eyes turn to Thursday night into Friday for heat and dry weather relief as a stronger weather system will drop into the region, bringing cooler temperatures and some scattered storms.
These storms may impact some Friday evening and weekend plans, but the much needed rainfall will be welcomed by most.
