Test drive a Mazda to support James Madison High's auto program
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- James Madison High School and Hello Mazda of San Diego have teamed up to drive student success, kicking off the national "Be Moved Drive Program" in America's Finest City.
Hello Mazda is hosting a "Be Moved Drive Program" event on Thursday, giving the community a chance to get behind the wheel of a Mazda while fueling future opportunities for students. The program is designed to deliver substantial donations to schools and their unique programs through dealer-hosted test-drive events.
For every test drive taken between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m., Mazda will donate $50 to the school, with the potential to raise up to $10,000. Funds raised will benefit the school’s Automotive Technology Program, which teaches students the design, operation and maintenance of vehicles.
“Hello Mazda is so proud to be a customer as part of the Mazda Drive Program. Giving back is such a core part of who we are, and this program is the perfect opportunity for us to give back to our local schools in a meaningful way,” said Samantha Morrow, marketing director for Hello Mazda of San Diego.
James Madison High focuses on preparing students for a specific trade or occupation. The event provides an opportunity for the community to support and empower local students through education and workforce preparation.
Anyone 18 or older with a valid driver’s license is invited to participate. No pre-registration is required. James Madison is located at 4833 Doliva Dr. in San Diego.
