Suspect at large after woman jogging sexually battered in East County
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Authorities are searching for a man accused of sexually battering a woman while she was jogging in the unincorporated area of El Cajon.
The San Diego County Sheriff's Department is searching for a man accused of grabbing a 24-year-old woman from behind while she was jogging around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. He allegedly put his left arm around her neck and chest to restrain her before sexually battering her, sheriff's say.
The woman screamed and was able to run away from the man, who ran from the area in the opposite direction.
The sheriff's office says the suspect was last seen running from the 1600 block of Hilton Head Road in the unincorporated area of El Cajon. He is described as a white man in his mid-20s, 5'6", 150 pounds, with short, shaggy medium brown hair, and wearing a dark colored top, a possible black hat and black flip flops.

The sexual battery is under investigation by San Diego County Sheriff Detectives.
