Superfood shop to bring açaí bowls, smoothies to Carmel Mountain Ranch

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A growing superfood franchise, known for its craft-your-own açaí bowls, is opening a new location in Carmel Mountain Ranch this week.
According to a representative with Everbowl, the company is continuing its mission to bring healthy, accessible food options to communities across San Diego County with a brand new storefront.
Located at 11975 Carmel Mountain Rd., the new shop officially opens to the public on Friday, Aug. 8, offering a full menu on customizable bowls made with nutrient-rich bases like açaí, pitaya, and blue majic, topped with fresh fruits and superfood add-ons.
Everbowl has made authenticity and direct sourcing a core part of its identity, with the company supporting the communities that produce its key ingredients. In fact, the açaí used by the franchise is sourced directly from the Amazon.
In addition to its bowls, the Carmel Mountain Ranch store will offer Everbowl’s newer menu items, such as Sips, a line of refreshing beverages, and Toast, a warm and hearty menu extension.
Before the grand opening, Everbowl will host a friends and family preview event on Thursday, Aug. 7 from 4-7 p.m., giving local residents an exclusive first taste of its menu. After that, the Carmel Mountain Ranch store will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Founded in 2016 by San Diego native and entrepreneur Jeff Fenster, Everbowl has grown to over 100 locations nationwide, including several across Southern California. Its philosophy is simple: make healthy eating easy, enjoyable, and accessible.
