ST. LOUIS - A beautiful day Wednesday and we’ll do it again Thursday.

Sunny skies Thursday, with highs only in the low to mid-70s. Clear skies this evening and during the overnight hours, we’ll wake up in the 40s. Clouds will increase around sunrise as a cold front moves our way.

That front maybe, just maybe, will have the punch to stir up a few rain showers, especially west of the Mississippi River, Friday morning. But also, the very dry conditions may erode that rain away quickly. So it is a watcher, but, if we can get anything, rainfall totals will be light. Highs in the mid-70s Friday.

The weekend will bring warmer temperatures. Not extreme, but temperatures will be back above normal, around 80 F for afternoon highs and closer to 60 F for out-the-door temperatures. The next shot at some rain will be Tuesday.
