State takeover of St. Louis police department hits rough patch
What may have seemed to be a “smooth” start for the state takeover of the St. Louis Police Department when Republican Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe signed it into law last year has certainly hit a rough patch.
St. Louis Mayor Cara Spencer sat down with Fox 2’s Andy Banker Thursday and said the debate is dividing the city and state, pitting people against each other who ought to be working together.
