Stabbing in Carlsbad tied to family dispute, police say
CARLSBAD (FOX 5/KUSI) — A stabbing early Sunday morning in Carlsbad has led to one person in custody, according to the Carlsbad Police Department.

Officers responded to a residence in the 950 block of Oak Avenue around 1 a.m., where they discovered a victim suffering from stab wounds following what police say was a family dispute.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, to the best of police's knowledge, though their current condition has not been released.
The suspect is in custody, and investigators say there is no ongoing threat to the community. The incident remains under investigation.
