St. Louis Police launch ‘testing day blitz’ amid officer shortage
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) is hosting a ‘Fast Track Testing Day Blitz’ next week, a hiring event aimed at addressing what the department is calling a critical need for police officers. The department says it still needs to add around 300 officers after losing several hundred cops a few years ago.
