St. Louis police: 'Armed and dangerous' suspect wanted in Midtown shooting

ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a suspect who is considered to be "armed and dangerous and wanted over a Midtown neighborhood shooting.

On Wednesday, SLMPD identified Malcolm Bailey Lee III, 24, as a suspect wanted in connection with an Aug. 20 shooting in the 300 block of South Grand Boulevard.

According to an SLMPD crime summary report, a 23-year-old man was shot in front of an apartment building and suffered critical injuries. Police reviewed surveillance footage and later identified Lee as a suspect.

SLMPD reports that Lee should be considered "armed and dangerous." Lee is described as 24 years old, 6 feet tall and around 220-240 pounds.

If you happen to see him, SLMPD says do not approach him, but call 911 immediately.
