St. Louis County man sentenced for arranging drug sales to DEA
ST. LOUIS - A St. Louis County man who arranged illegal drug sales to undercover DEA agents has been sentenced to federal prison.
On Tuesday, a federal judge sentenced Jerry Massey, 33, to 15 years in federal prison for arranging sales of methamphetamine, fentanyl and cocaine to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Massy previously pleaded guilty to the following charges:
- Five counts of distribution of meth and fentanyl
- One count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute meth and fentanyl
- One count of possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl
- One count of count of distribution of meth and heroin
The Drug Enforcement Administration began investigating Massey in January 2022, leading to a series of drug purchased that were arranged by him in St. Louis City, St. Louis County and Illinois.
Investigators say this included at least seven sales from Jan. 18-March 14, 2024.
On March 27, investigators conducted a court-approved search of Massey’s home and found a
large amount of cash and 29 pills containing fentanyl, according to his plea agreement.
Four others linked to the investigation have also pleaded guilty to drug charges, including:
- Darrion Dardon, 32
- Darius Smith, 31
- Ronald Finney, 32
- Michael Davis, 34
Finney and Davis await sentencing. Dardon was sentenced to 84 months in prison and Smith to
96 months.
