Southbound Campus Way in San Marcos closed this week
SAN MARCOS, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) – San Marcos drivers should prepare for a road closure on southbound Campus Way this week.
According to the City of San Marcos, the southbound lanes of Campus Way will be closed from Carmel Street to North City Drive starting Monday and continuing until Friday.
Northbound lanes will stay open, but drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes due to potential delays. Traffic control and signs will be in place to guide drivers and pedestrians through the area.
The closure is due to ongoing construction upgrading infrastructure to support the new 12-story housing development being built in the University District.
The closure schedule is subject to change due to weather or unforeseen delays.
