SLMPD investigates homicide in Penrose neighborhood
ST. LOUIS - District 6 Officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) are responding to a deadly shooting that happened in the Penrose neighborhood on Monday.
According to police, the shooting occurred in the 4400 block of Marcus Avenue around 6:14 p.m. SLMPD has identified the deceased as an adult male, but information about the victim is limited at this time.
Homicide detectives have been requested to investigate the incident, SLMPD says.
