Sheriff's deputies investigate man's death in Ramona
(FOX 5/KUSI) — The San Diego County Sheriff's Office is investigating a man's death in Ramona after deputies responded to a call about an assault with a deadly weapon on Sunday afternoon.
The sheriff's office said deputies responded to the area of 8th and G Streets around 2:35 p.m. and found a man with "traumatic injuries."
The man was treated by paramedics but died soon after. His identity will be released by the county Medical Examiner's Office after his family has been notified.
Officials did not provide information about a possible suspect, but said the case "appears to be an isolated incident," with no danger to the community.
