Second teen charged in armed robbery outside The Muny
ST. LOUIS - A second teen has been charged for allegedly robbing a man at gunpoint outside of The Muny last year.
On Friday, the St. Louis circuit attorney’s office charged Terrion Harris with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action in connection with the incident.
Harris, Maurice R. Tillman and one other suspect are accused of carrying out an armed robbery on Aug. 25, 2024, outside of The Muny at Forest Park.
Investigators say a man was sitting on a bench when he was approached by three suspects, including one who pressed a gun to his back and demanded his belongings. The other two suspects reportedly took his wallet, keys and cell phone from his pocket before running away from the scene.
According to a St. Louis police probable cause statement, the suspects found the victim’s vehicle and tried to enter and start it, but they were unsuccessful. The victim briefly pursued them and eventually recovered his belongings after the suspects threw them on the ground.
Police say the suspects were captured on surveillance video, and police later sought the public’s help identifying them. Two suspects eventually turned themselves in, according to the probable cause statement.
A warrant has been issued for Harris and Tillman’s arrest and he they have been ordered no bond upon arrest, according to online Missouri court records.
