San Diego golf course impacted by sewer line work
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Golfers will notice a change in the amount of holes they can play at Tecolote Canyon Golf Course in San Diego.
Due to construction on a major sewer line in Tecolote Canyon, the course has temporarily reduced from 18 holes to 9 holes to allow for work to take place, the City of San Diego said in a Facebook post Monday.
The work on the 4.7-mile sewer line has moved closer to the golf course.
"This 9-hole layout will continue into the fall, then the course is expected to close completely through next spring," the City of San Diego said.
The driving range, however, will remain open to guests.
The sewer line project work includes sewer line maintenance, installation and replacement of manholes and access path improvements to facilitate future maintenance.
