San Diego FC completes season sweep over LAFC with comeback
SAN DIEGO (FOX5/KUSI)-- San Diego FC rallied from a one-goal deficit in the first half on Sunday to topple conference rival Los Angeles FC 2-1 on the road and sweep the season series, 4-0.
LAFC opened the scoring when Denis Bouanga found the back of the net in the 15th minute to put Los Angeles up 1-0 in the match.
Hirving “Chucky” Lozano then knotted up the match in the 33rd minute after the speedy forward cut inside a defender and fired the ball past LA's goaltender to tie up the affair 1-1.

With the score still knotted in the second half, Danish midfielder Anders Dreyer cut past a pair of defenders and delivered the game-winning goal to secure San Diego's 2-1 road win over LAFC.
With the victory, SDFC remains atop the Western Conference standings, boasting a 17-7-5 record and averaging 1.93 points per game. The club also extended its winning streak on the road to seven games with an impressive 10-4-0 away record.
SDFC's next match is Saturday, Sept. 13, as they take on Minnesota United FC at Snapdragon Stadium.
