San Diego Clippers unveil promotional schedule with giveaways

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- The San Diego Clippers, the NBA G League affiliate of the LA Clippers, have announced the promotional schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season, promising giveaways, theme nights and community celebrations all season long.

The Clippers tip off their season at home on Friday, Nov.14, against the Salt Lake City Stars with Opening Night presented by MiraCosta College. The evening includes an exclusive t-shirt giveaway, as well as Fan Fest starting at 5:30 p.m. featuring live music, games, a kids zone, and autograph opportunities with players.

The season is packed with themed nights designed to engage fans of all ages and honor the diverse communities across San Diego. Here's a breakdown of what to expect:

Military Night (Nov. 16) – Presented by Frontwave Credit Union, players will wear special camo jerseys and fans receive schedule magnets.
Native American Heritage Night (Nov. 23) – Featuring a corduroy hat giveaway and special cooler bag for select ticket package holders.
Community Weekend (Nov. 29-30) – Includes a City Connect jersey debut, commemorative headbands and thunderstick giveaways.
Holiday Night (Dec. 13) – Players will wear "ugly sweater" jerseys, while fans take home holiday socks and blankets (for special ticket holders).
AAPI Heritage Night (Dec. 14) – Hawaiian shirt giveaways celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander culture.
Kids Night & Country Night (Dec. 27-28) – Featuring mascot shoulder pets and cowboy hat giveaways.
Star Wars Night (Jan. 24) – A fan-favorite returns with Star Wars-themed jerseys, lightsaber thundersticks, and a replica jersey for ticket package holders.
Throwback Night (Jan. 31) – Honoring Bill Walton with baby blue jerseys and bobblehead giveaways.
Black History Night (Feb. 20) – Featuring tote bag giveaways and themed t-shirts for package holders.
Hispanic Heritage Night (Mar. 21) – Includes lucha libre mask giveaways and ponchos for ticket package buyers.
Fan Appreciation Night (Mar. 28) – Fans will receive a replica jersey as a thank-you for their season-long support.
