San Diego Blood Bank to give donors exclusive Mickey Mouse vampire T-shirt
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- San Diego Blood Bank is putting a festive spin on saving lives this Halloween season, offering blood donors a special treat all month long.
From Oct. 1-31, anyone who donates blood at any San Diego Blood Bank donation center or mobile blood drive will receive a limited-edition Mickey Mouse vampire T-shirt—while supplies and sizes last. The spooky swag is part of the organization’s annual push to boost donations during a typically slow season.

To be eligible to donate, participants must be at least 17 years old, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in general good health. Appointments can be made at SanDiegoBloodBank.org, though walk-ins are also welcome.
San Diego Blood Bank serves hospitals across the region. In addition to maintaining a steady blood supply, the organization supports community health initiatives and collaborates in medical research. It currently operates 10 fixed-site donation locations and runs 10 mobile bloodmobiles throughout Southern California.
With a fun incentive and a critical mission, the San Diego Blood Bank is hoping residents will make time to donate this October and help save lives.
