Russian troops launched a large-scale drone strike on the Shostka hromada in Sumy Oblast on the night of 29-30 May, damaging residential houses and office buildings. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Details: Air defence forces managed to destroy some of the Russian attack drones. However, hits on civilian infrastructure were also recorded.
Quote: "Destruction and damage to civilian infrastructure facilities have been recorded. Residential and non-residential buildings, office premises and cars have been damaged.
Efforts to deal with the aftermath of the attack have been underway since last night. All the necessary emergency services are working at the scene. People are being provided with the necessary help."
Background: Two people were killed in a Russian drone strike on the Velyka Pysarivka hromada in the Okhtyrka district in Sumy Oblast on the morning of 28 May.
