Russians kill 3 civilians and injure 16 in Donetsk Oblast in one day – photo

Russian forces killed three residents of Donetsk Oblast on 8 December and injured 16 others.

Details: Filashkin said that two civilians had been killed and six injured in Kostiantynivka, one person had been killed and five injured in Druzhkivka and one person had been injured in Serhiivka as a result of Russian attacks.

Four people were injured by a Russian aerial bomb in Kramatorsk.

Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office reported that the Russians had used a FAB-250 bomb equipped with a UMPK kit. [A UMPK is a guidance kit for converting unguided bombs into precision-guided munitions – ed.]

The munition hit near a two-storey residential building. A 44-year-old man, his 40-year-old wife and two children aged 6 and 8 suffered injuries. They were at home at the time of the attack.

Six apartment buildings were damaged in the city.

Filashkin also added that at least 3,761 civilians have been killed and a minimum of 8,565 have been injured in Donetsk Oblast since the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion. He noted that the total number of casualties is given without taking the city of Mariupol and the town of Volnovakha into account.

Background: On the afternoon of 8 December, Russians attacked a family with children collecting water in Kostiantynivka using an FPV drone. Four people were injured, including two minors.
