Russian strike hits riding school in Sumy Oblast, killing animals

Russian forces conducted a drone strike on the grounds of a riding school in the city of Sumy on the night of 16-17 June, killing several animals.

Quote: "The Russians deliberately struck a civilian facility where children – students at the riding school – trained every day. Early reports indicate that no staff members have been injured. The strike hit the stables. Sadly, several horses have been killed."

Details: Kordon.Media reported that the strike had taken place shortly after midnight and posted images showing the damage.

Update: Kobzar confirmed that the riding school in Sumy had been hit.

"An enemy Geran-2 UAV has struck premises belonging to Sumy riding school. The stable has been damaged in the attack. Three horses have been killed. The fire that broke out after the impact has been contained," he said.
