Russian forces launched strikes on a residential area in the city of Sumy on the night of 3-4 April, causing a fire in a high-rise residential building and leaving 11 people injured, including a teenager.

Details: Serhii Kryvosheienko, Head of Sumy City Military Administration, said that the strike had hit the 12th floor of a 16-storey building in the city centre.
Update: Hryhorov later reported that three people had been injured in the Russian strike. He also said that residents were being evacuated from damaged buildings and shared a video of the burning high-rise.
Meanwhile, Kryvosheienko noted that four people had been injured.
Update: The State Emergency Service reported in the morning that attack drones had hit a 16-storey residential building and a residential area in Sumy.
Early reports from rescue workers indicated that the number of people injured had risen to seven, including a child.
Update: Police reported after 07:00 that the number of people injured in the overnight strike on Sumy had increased to 11, including a 15-year-old teenager.
