During the night of 7 May 2026, Ukraine carried out strikes on a number of key Russian military assets, including a missile-carrying warship, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported. Also, the operation hit command posts and logistical infrastructure of the occupying forces.

Such missiles have 450 kg warheads and have been used in a Russian terrorist attack on Ukrainian cities, which led to a vast number of casualties. Moscow utilized them amid US President Donald Trump's peace initiative in November 2025, killing seven people in Kyiv.
