Russian forces bog down in urban combat for Pokrovsk, Ukrainian forces say

Ukraine's Air Assault Forces have said that Russian troops have become bogged down in urban combat for Pokrovsk and that claims that the city has been captured are manipulative.

Quote: "The enemy has become stuck in urban combat for Pokrovsk and is currently unable to seize the city by force.

The enemy is therefore trying to step up propaganda and disinformation, peddling fabricated stories about the alleged 'capture of Pokrovsk', both openly and covertly.

The situation on our sector of the front remains difficult. The enemy is actively storming the northern part of Pokrovsk. Our troops continue to carry out their tasks to defend the city, holding back the advance of Russian forces."

Details: Ukrainian military said that in some areas the Russians are trying to operate near logistics routes.

It has been reported that "in these areas, the speed at which the enemy is being killed is higher than the speed of its movement".

The Air Assault Forces added that although logistics remain under severe strain, supply routes are still functioning.

More details: They also said that despite intense fighting, defence forces around Myrnohrad have managed to carry out several troop rotations over the past week.

Various components of Ukraine's defence forces continue to be involved in the defence of the Pokrovsk agglomeration, including the Air Assault Forces, assault units, Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Special Operations Forces, Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), National Guard of Ukraine and National Police of Ukraine.
