Russia loses more than 1,500 soldiers over past day
Russia has lost 1,530 soldiers killed and wounded, 88 artillery systems and 40 armoured combat vehicles over the past day.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 18 April 2025 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:
- approximately 938,970 (+1,530) military personnel;
- 10,662 (+8) tanks;
- 22,257 (+40) armoured combat vehicles;
- 26,530 (+88) artillery systems;
- 1,367 (+1) multiple-launch rocket systems;
- 1,136 (+1) air defence systems;
- 370 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
- 335 (+0) helicopters;
- 33,065 (+140) tactical and strategic UAVs;
- 3,145 (+0) cruise missiles;
- 28 (+0) ships/boats;
- 1 (+0) submarine;
- 44,954 (+312) vehicles and fuel tankers;
- 3,858 (+51) special vehicles and other equipment.
