Russia destroys Chinese-brand car showroom in Kyiv – photos

The official dealership of Chinese electric vehicle brand Zeekr in the Podilskyi district of Kyiv has temporarily suspended operations following damage caused by a Russian strike.

Quote: "Due to the consequences of an enemy strike, our showroom in the Podilskyi district at Naberezhno-Luhova Street 4 temporarily suspends operations."

Details: Video footage published by the dealership shows the building's facade destroyed and the vehicle display area severely damaged. Several cars were also affected. The company stated that further details regarding the resumption of operations would be provided at a later date.

For reference: Zeekr is a premium electric vehicle brand belonging to China's Geely Group. In Ukraine, the brand is represented through an official distributor, with one of its Kyiv dealership locations operating in the Podilskyi district.

Background: On the night of 1-2 June, Russia launched another large-scale combined strike on Ukraine using attack UAVs, as well as air-, sea- and land-based missiles of various types. Ukraine's air defences downed 642 Russian aerial assets out of 729 launched.
