Russia attacks Ukraine with two ballistic missiles and 122 drones overnight: air defence downs 111 UAVs
Russia attacked Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 122 strike and decoy drones on the night of 25-26 May. Ukrainian defence forces shot down 111 drones, and the attack is still ongoing.

Details: According to the Air Force, Russia launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Russia's Rostov Oblast and occupied Crimea.
Shahed-type drones, including jet-powered models, as well as Gerbera and Italmas UAVs and Parodiya-type decoy drones, were launched from the Russian cities of Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as Hvardiiske in occupied Crimea.
Quote: "As of 08:30, air defence had shot down or jammed 111 enemy Shahed, Gerbera and Italmas UAVs as well as other types of drones in the north, south and east of the country.
Hits by nine strike drones and missiles were recorded at 11 locations, while debris from downed drones fell at three locations."
Details: The air attack was repelled by Ukrainian aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups from the Ukrainian defence forces.
The Air Force warned that the attack is ongoing, with new groups of Russian drones entering Ukrainian airspace.
